Listen to Leitvox's Latest Album “Under the Skin”

Last year, Miami-based artist Leitvox delivered his sophomore full length album, Under the Skin, an experimental offering, and one which mines from the nuanced motifs of ambient and industrial techno. The anticipated release, which was composed, produced, and mixed by the artist himself, is now out on vinyl.

Leitvox's creative hands touched every element of the album, the artist helming the design and direction of everything from the album cover art to the music videos-and it shows. A palpable creative energy drips from each track, which he worked on in the studio in solitude - a huge departure from his usually collaboration heavy creative process. The isolation did him well, however, with the technical maturity of Under the Skin becoming a distinct fruit of the artist's labor.

"This album is atmospheric and more dance/techno than everything that I made in the past. I think this album projects a step forward in my career as an artist. I composed, produced, and mixed it so it was a lot of work, but the sound it’s truly myself, and that is important. I guess that even that I love to collaborate with artists, this time I capture in this album to work by myself, even that I collaborate in the visual level with other artists, I really enjoyed working by myself…it was a different experience."

About Leitvox
Leitvox is a Mexican producer and composer based in Miami. He works out of his own studio in Wynwood, and has been working on his own music, and producing other artists since his arrival in 2013.

His first EP, Fall From You, was released in 2012 and was acclaimed by the press in his native country. The EP served as a foundation for its successor, the full-length Floating Promises, released last year. Floating Promises features collaborations with Ilan Rubin (Nine Inch Nails), Gavin Clark and James Griffith (Unkle) Nina Miranda (Smoke City), and Ana Karla Escobar. In addition to the 9 tracks of the album, it has 4 bonus tracks consisting of remixes by Ladytron, GusGus, Son Lux and Nortec.

Leitvox's had a prolific 2018, beginning the year with the release of a video for the track "Ingenue", featuring Miami based vocalist Jette Kelly. Then followed by the single "Night Window" and "The Dreaming Silenus" from the upcoming LP Under The Skin, 2020 is starting strong for the Miami based producer.
