About Ash Code
Ash Code is an Italian Dark Wave band formed in 2014 in Napoli by the singer Alessandro Belluccio, the keyboardist Claudia Nottebella and the bass player Adriano Belluccio. In 2014, Ash Code released their first full-length album, Oblivion on CD under the Swiss Dark Nights label. The work reached 2nd in the “Soundcheck” chart of Sonic Seducer. In 2016 their second LP Posthuman was released under the Swiss Dark Nights label. Described as a hectic work of obsessive rhythm and markedly post-punk it again reached the 2nd position in the “Soundcheck” chart of Sonic Seducer. From their inception, they have toured Europe, sharing the stage with important frontrunners of the Dark-wave scene such as Cold Cave, Gang of Four, Clan of Xymox, Sigue Sigue Sputnik, The Soft Moon, Front Line Assembly, Skeletal Family, She Past Away, Boy Harsher and many more. The band released their third album Perspektive last year to critical acclaim (including "Album of the month" on Sonic Seducer). Shortly after this, the band announced their move to the famed Metropolis Records.
