VOWWS release single “Burn II”, ft Kristina Esfandiari (King Woman/Miserable)

The single is a haunting remake of VOWWS’ track “Burn”, from the albumUnder The World.  It premiered on Friday on Revolver Magazine.

Death-Pop duo VOWWS return to the spotlight with their new single “Burn II”,  a beautiful retake on the original track “Burn” (from the album Under The World), now featuring vocals by the enigmatic Kristina Esfandiari (King Woman and Miserable).

The single is a distinctly melancholic take on VOWWS’ signature style – a rich, dark tapestry that allows space for Kristina’s vocals to soar high and clean. This release follows the announcement of the lineup of Dia De Los Deftones music festival, in which VOWWS will perform.

The track “Burn” was originally produced by VOWWS (with assistance from Kevin S. McMahon from his studio in New Paltz NY), with the new arrangement, vocals and mixing done by VOWWS in their home studio in Los Angeles. The collaboration between Kristina and VOWWS is fruit of both personal friendship and professional relationship, resulting in the single “Burn II”.

The song is out now via Anti-Language Records, on all platforms. The single artwork is by long time friend and collaborator Jesse Draxler.
