FK IRONS
Established in 2007, Miami-based FK Irons (Fallen Kings Irons) has quickly established itself as one of the top suppliers of equipment for professional tattoo artists across the globe. Designing and manufacturing all of their products in the United States, FK Irons produces high-quality, state-of-the-art tattoo machines, grips, power equipment, and other tattoo tools and accessories. Raygun has produced events and marketing for FK Irons products featuring company-affiliated ProTeam Artists.
Challenges: After partnering with FK Irons to produce their semi-annual Innovation Days event, where FK Irons invited Pro Team tattoo artists to their headquarters in Miami to gather content and interact with new products, FK Irons approached Raygun to assist with the launch of the Flux Max, their new state-of-the-art battery-powered tattoo machine.
Strategy: Raygun’s campaign involved seeding the new Flux Max devices among the ProTeam, treating them as influencers and requesting they post content of themselves using the machines to create tattoos. We designed special packaging for the Flux Max around the concept “The Most Powerful Tool For The Job.” All creative development and package production was achieved in-house with consultation from the client.
Results: 100 Flux Max packages were produced and sent to FK Irons ProTeam members around the world. Influential tattoo artists such as Daria Pirojenko, Tatu Baby and award-winning star of Ink Masters John Campuzano posted videos using the new tools that collectively reached millions of views.
